On Monday afternoon our students had a fun filled afternoon at sports day!

It is famous for its historic buildings and highly rated private schools, including Sherborne Girls, the home of our summer programme. Sherborne even has its own golden post box to commemorate local resident Peter Wilson’s gold medal victory at the London 2012 Olympics!
Sherborne Abbey is one of the most famous buildings and features architectural styles from the early Saxons through to Renaissance classicism. It also boasts statues of well-known visitors to Sherborne including the famous English explorer Sir Walter Raleigh. Other famous historical sights include Sherborne’s two castles dating from the 12th and 16th centuries.

Check out the gallery below for some beautiful pictures of Sherborne town – our students will get the opportunity to explore Sherborne in their Essential English lessons when they get to practise their language skills in the local shops and with the Sherborne residents.
